Cette reprise de la légendaire protest song de Barry McGuire a d’abord paru en single en 1989. Le groupe se composait alors de Phil May et Dick Taylor avec Frank Holland (guitare), Steve Browning (basse) et Mark St. John (batterie). Un clip en noir et blanc a été tourné à cette occasion à Dungeness, dans le sud du Kent. Il apparaît dans le coffret Bouquets from a Cloudy Sky.
Après une réédition en single en 1996, la chanson a finalement trouvé place sur l’album Rage Before Beauty, dix ans après sa première parution.
