Ce deuxième single pour EMI est aussi représentatif de la fin des Sixties que Barbarella. Il y a pas mal de sons qu’on a utilisés sur « S. F. Sorrow » : le sitar, les harmonies compactes, le mellotron, les figures de guitare avec plusieurs cordes à l’unisson et une gamme mixolydienne à la fin, un vrai petit tour de force.
